The Recruitment Process:

TA Interview: This will be a discussion with a member of the Talent Acquisition Team to give you an understanding of our business, our culture & values and more context on the role. It will also allow up the opportunity to get to know you more and ensure OMI can meet your career aspirations.

Panel Interview: This will be with 2 members of the Senior Leadership of the Hiring Team and 1 member of the HC Leadership Team.

Technical & Psychometric Assessments: These will depend on the role and will sometimes happen concurrently with Vetting through an external service provider & Internal Verification.

Operate in a Line 2 role in assisting management to identify, assess, monitor and report on risk and to provide ongoing oversight and challenge to management. Deploy risk and governance methodologies in the business segments and ensure management receive on-going training and awareness in order to properly apply these risk methodologies in practice.

To assist management to identify, assess, monitor and report on risk and to ensure that management decision making is within risk appetite.

Support Segment Business Partners with technical risk expertise which could be risk analytics, risk workshops, training etc.

Provide support and assistance to management where required to embed risk management and provide challenge where appropriate. Ensure that risk processes are implemented at segment level.

Define and ensure the appropriate risk management methodologies are implemented into the Business.

Assesses, review and challenges the completeness and accuracy of the end-to-end business risk management process (identify, measure, mitigate, monitor) through a collaborative process.

Ensures risk aggregation reports and management risk self-assessment results are produced and provided to reporting entities management and the CRO where required.

Drive the identification of Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s) and conduct regular monitoring, assisting business where appropriate to bring risk back within appetite limit where risk appetite has been breached.

Scan the external environment for relevant emerging risks and assess the potential impact, liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure that any significant issues are brought to the attention of the CRO.

Deliver a risk scenario approach to operational risk and to drive the operational risk quantification aspects within this process.

Embed the risk policy policies that guide business in appropriate risk taking.

Undertake regular risk and governance training and awareness sessions.

Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the GRC (CURA) tool, including ongoing operational support.

Establish influence, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the business to promote a risk aware culture and risk ownership in Line 1.

Work with cross-functional teams across the OM Group for collaboration on enterprise risks.

Continuous improvement to ensure effective service

Ensure statutory and legislative knowledge is always current in order to resolve customer complaints, to advise the business on corrective solutions to mitigate risks and to improve the customer experience whilst complying with governance requirements.

Ensure adherence to organisational policies, practices and procedures.

Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.

Service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction

Maintain service, quality and desired outputs across the business process by ensuring compliance to tactical policies, procedures and standards.

Establish productive operational relationships with key stakeholders in the various channels and development teams.

Develop work routines in line with operational plans/ schedules in order to manage achievement of service delivery goals.

Share knowledge on, and participate in the creation of new standards, control systems and procedures to maintain service delivery.

Ensure cost efficiency through financial and corporate governance

Contribute to the development and implementation of fit for purpose budgets.

Manage relationships, and budgets associated with projects.

Manage quality people practices

Align own behaviour with the organisation culture and values.

Share and transfer product, process and systems knowledge to colleagues.

Collaborate and work with the business and IT teams to deliver required service levels.

Actively share information with other team members regarding successes, issues, trends and ideas.
