Job Summary:

Partners with leadership to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale Smartsheet solutions, including initiative governance, executive portfolios and project portfolio management (PPM) system(s). Provides expert guidance on process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and reduce administrative effort through process enablement across the organization. Collaborates with executive leaders and cross-functional teams to develop long-term and short-term strategies, frameworks, and systems that optimize performance and drive operational excellence. Bridges technology and business needs, ensuring successful solution deployment that supports the achievement of organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as principal solution architect for the organization’s Smartsheet solutions including the enterprise project management office (EPMO) project and portfolio management, portfolio governance, intake, project management, reporting / dashboarding, and archive(s). Builds and maintains product roadmap which prioritizes solution enhancements, supports break/fix, integrates Smartsheet product releases, addresses user feedback, ensures sustainability and designs for future scalability. Provides expert guidance for enhancements and improvements to drive efficiency and excellence in solutions.  Develops and maintains comprehensive solution documentation (e.g., architecture, standards/framework, data flow map, definitions, etc.) and training materials/playbook. Provides leadership for product governance including system reporting, user permissions, license management, utilization, system performance, etc. Provides consultative engagement with leaders to estimate solution value delivery, analyze process maps, guide requirements gathering, plan for release(s), develop solutions/enable workflows, test, and deploy solutions.  Provides development support/guidance to portfolio subject matter experts. Provides direction and support to enable related workflow processes in Smartsheet across the enterprise. Ensures application and solution compliance with the organization’s policies and procedures. Participates in knowledge sharing, peer collaboration, mentoring, and training of colleagues. Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree

EXPERIENCE

Five years’ experience in engineering, development, or solution architecture

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.Frequent keyboard use/data entry.Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.Rare climbing.
