Responsibilities What you get to do every day:

As a Customer Windows Print Server Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's print infrastructure, ensuring high availability and efficiency of print services.

Work closely with both on-site and remote users to resolve printing issues, coordinate upgrades, and provide expert support for Windows print environments.

Design, implement, and maintain Windows print server infrastructureManage print queues, drivers, and printer deployments across the organizationTroubleshoot complex printing issues and provide timely resolutionsConfigure and maintain print security policies and access controlsMonitor print server performance and implement optimizationsPlan and execute print server upgrades and migrationsImplement print accounting and monitoring solutionsDevelop and maintain documentation for print server configurations and processesCollaborate with network and system teams to ensure print infrastructure aligns with overall IT strategyProvide training and support to end-users on printing best practicesManage vendor relationships for printer hardware and software Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Requires Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in Windows server administration, with a focus on print servicesRequired Skills:
Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and print managementExperience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy as it relates to printer deploymentFamiliarity with TCP/IP networking and printer protocolsExcellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex printing issuesAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to provide occasional after-hours support for critical print infrastructure

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds

What is ideal?
