**Summary:** Meta is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise network infrastructure, leveraging Meta's software and tooling stack. **Required Skills:** Enterprise Network Engineer Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain network architecture and infrastructure plans supporting large-scale distributed systems. 2. Troubleshoot network issues and outages, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. 3. Collaborate with other engineering groups to ensure our network infrastructure continues to support applications and services effectively. 4. Monitor network performance and integrity, and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance and reliability. 5. Ensure all network infrastructure is compliant with industry standards and best practices. 6. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members. 7. Participate in on-call rotation for network support. 8. Build tools in support of network data analysis and production execution 9. Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network and tooling issues. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 10. 3+ years of professional experience in network engineering. 11. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent professional experience. 12. Proficiency in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.). 13. Proficiency in Python, or other similar programming languages. 14. Proficiency in Linux/Unix **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 15. MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering 16. Experience with troubleshooting problems as it relates to at least one networking system or platform (IP, Optical, Web servers, load balancers, storage systems etc). 17. Experience with developing software in the context of building and/or operating large scale networking systems. 18. Experience with network automation tools like Ansible, SaltStack, or 19. Experience in designing, deploying and operating networks at scale. 20. Experience with Data Centers and PoP/Colo both infrastructure and network engineering 21.
