POSITION SUMMARY:
Marathon Petroleum Company LP (MPC) has an opportunity for an Enterprise Business Services Director – Corporate & Contracts supporting all MPC Corporate and operational business units. This role is open to Findlay.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
+ Oversees strategic development and management of the Central Contracts Team, Contract Administration (includes Pre and Post Pay Audit and Tax Reconciliation programs), Supply Chain Corporate Support (includes Fleet and MPC Travel and Card Services Programs), Supply Chain IT support groups, Supplier Diversity, and IT Vendor Management.
+ Leads, coordinates, and participates in the pursuit of continuous improvement, cost, performance, and process efficiencies/opportunities associated with contracts management and procurement of materials and services.
+ Establishes goals and objectives that support overall Supply Chain strategic plans and eliminates obstacles to achieve integrated, efficient, and quality service.
+ Reviews and understands the company’s business component and corporate group key performance metrics and targets; develops complimentary metrics and benchmarks that represent the performance.
+ Collaborates with Central Contracts, Corporate & IT Stakeholders to align work across business units, optimizing value to the company.
+ Serves as a change agent to ensure successful implementation of new processes or revisions to current processes, legal initiatives and contracting strategies and procedures.
+ Provides commercial support (development of strategy, contracting approach, competitive bidding, order placement and invoice discrepancy resolution) for Commercial, IT, Human Resources, Corporate HES&S, Corporate Refining, Business Development and Legal.
+ Manages Human Resource activities including performance management, career planning, competency assessment and succession planning.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s degree required. Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, IT or other Business-related fields preferred.
+ Ten (10) or more years’ business relevant experience.
+ Two (2) or more years’ leadership experience.
+ Travel requirements 10%
+ CPM or CPSM certification preferred
