Enterprise Architect
Description Established Oil and Gas company in Houston, Texas, and are looking for a skilled Enterprise Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be expected to transform our digital landscape, align our tech strategies with business ambitions, and champion innovative architectural practices. Responsibilities: • Lead the transformation of our IT ecosystem, focusing on innovation, scalability, and cost-efficiency • Craft and implement an advanced Enterprise and cross-Domain Architecture strategy • Drive strategic alignment of architecture across key stakeholders • Develop and govern architecture standards, principles, and best practices for organization-wide adoption • Create transformative roadmaps for systems, applications, and infrastructure • Facilitate seamless collaboration between technology and business, bridging any existing divide • Oversee and govern critical architecture activities within the organization • Leverage Enterprise Architecture reference models and architecture repositories to foster data-driven decisions • Foster a thriving Architecture community within the organization • Champion the adoption of emerging technologies to keep us at the forefront of the industry Requirements • Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. • Minimum of 10 years' experience working in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically in Exploration & Production. • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, with a strong understanding of business process and business requirements. • Proficiency in Computer Architecture and Data Architecture is essential. • Demonstrated experience in designing, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure solutions. • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering. • Demonstrated experience in overseeing the links between complex systems and managing associated risks. • Excellent understanding of project management principles. • Proven ability to lead a team and work collaboratively in a team environment. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, concise manner. • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. • Must be able to anticipate potential issues and implement solutions before they become problems. • Willingness to stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies. • Detail oriented certification in Enterprise Architecture or related field is a plus.
