Position Summary
 The Enterprise Applications Architect is responsible for the design, integration, and implementation of enterprise-level applications, ensuring alignment with MPHC organizational goals and industry standards. This position leads the overall architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise applications, fostering seamless integration across platforms, systems, and processes. Working closely with IT leadership, the role develops and executes the IT Enterprise strategy, sets technical priorities, and provides leadership to the IT applications team in strategic initiatives, daily operations, and problem resolution.
Key responsibilities include integrating industry best practices, methodologies, and standards into all aspects of system design; identifying new technology opportunities; maintaining vendor relationships; and delivering IT infrastructure platforms and services that support MPHC's mission and objectives.

Key Outcomes

Advises IT leadership on technology trends, integration strategies, and industry practices to guide enterprise strategy and organizational priorities.Collaborates with IT leadership to develop a multi-year applications roadmap that balances resilience with improved workflows and operational efficiency.Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translates them into scalable, efficient, and secure application architectures.Designs and maintains integration solutions that ensure seamless data flow, interoperability, and an optimized user experience across all enterprise applications.Facilitates collaboration between cross-functional teams to align integration strategies with organizational goals.Develops and maintains a comprehensive application architecture strategy supporting MPHC’s digital transformation and integration initiatives.Evaluates and recommends emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to address the organization’s evolving needs.Establishes and enforces application architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines to maintain consistency and quality across the enterprise.Ensures integration designs comply with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and security standards.Implements monitoring tools and best practices to secure and optimize integrated systems.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master’s degree preferred.10 years of experience in a technical leadership role in healthcare IT, with a focus on application architecture and system integration.

Required License(s) and/or Certification(s)

Certifications in integration technologies (e.g., HL7, FHIR, MuleSoft, Informatica) preferred.
