Position summary

T-Mobile is America’s supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Engineers, Software is located in Frisco, TX will translate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications.

• Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for complete development, testing and delivery lifecycle.

Research, design, and develop computer and system applications.

Code and unit test new systems per technical specifications.

Develop application support documentation for support teams.

Use Agile Methodology for development activities.

Serve as Customer Information SME for new intake, change requests, and production issues.

Lead reviews of technical specifications and program code with members of technical team to communicate design, requirements, feature set, functionality, and limitations of systems and applications.

Support design and architecture review process with architect team for product design.

Participate in security and audit reviews to ensure API governance and security.

Skill requirements:

Must have some professional experience in each of the following:

Using Conductor and Kubernetes to support cloud native applications and GraphQL, Spring Boot, Node.js, JSON, and XML to develop APIs and Microservices.

Using Python, J2EE, SQL, C#,  JavaScript, Jenkins, Maven, GIT, antifactory, Rally, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and Oracle Fusion to build Customer Management and Customer Privacy APIs.

Using Jira for Agile Management and Agile delivery, and HP ALM, CI/CT/CD, Jenkins pipelines, AppDynamics, Splunk, and Grafana to support software development life cycle.

Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Topology manager, Designer, Operator and security manager to drive ELT process.

Building Java messaging services to publish and consume messages from RabbitMQ, Kafka topics, and large datasets.

Using SQL and PL/SQL to interact with databases through oracle 11g/19c.

Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field, and 1 year of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field and 3 years of relevant work experience.
