The role
As an Engineering Training Instructor you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be providing specialist engineering expertise to the Royal Navy training pipeline.
 
Day to day you’ll collaborate with our Astute-Class Training Service team to help train both the current and next generation of Submarine Service engineering professionals, as well as:

Deliver classroom and Computer Based Training to Engineering Equipment Maintainers Collaborating with the training design team to update the Engineering courseware based on technical changes, and identifying the impact of those changes Providing SME support to evaluate technical data and notifications of change on courseware 

 
This role is full time working 37 hours per week, and will be based on site at HMNB Clyde, near Helensburgh.
 
Essential experience of the Engineering Training Instructor:

Technical expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical and Electronic systems operation  Recent experience in this field with both up-to-date knowledge and hands-on practical skills Comfortable working both collaboratively and autonomously Be an engaging communicator with the ability to capture audience attention and deliver information effectively.

 
Qualifications for the Engineering Training Instructor:

Electronic or Electrical Systems Technician

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
