In this position, you will serve as an Engineer Technician I position in our Granville County Maintenance Unit. You are responsible for the completion of projects assigned to include; drive and/or place survey stakes and run testing on materials, all in accordance with established policy and procedures. You will inspect roadway projects and provide accurate documentation and recordkeeping. You will perform basic mathematical computations. You will drive a pickup truck. You will work outside in various types of weather, snow and ice, and disasters which may require you to work overtime. You must be able to work on all terrain. Position requires safety toe footwear. You may be required to exercise limited decision making and judgment.
