Texas Instruments is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for:
+ Technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment
+ Applications may include analog, digital and/or video circuits, logic systems, and packaging.
+ Work from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
+ Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work.
+ Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
+ Maintain and manage and engineering lab and equipment
+ Perform Altium PCB layout as needed
+ Perform PCB soldering and assembly as needed
+ Organize and manage calibration of engineering lab equipment as needed

**Minimum requirements:**
One of the following:
+ Associate's Degree or Technical Diploma/Certificate in an approved field of study and 5+ years of Technician level experience in a non-Semiconductor environment, OR
+ High School Diploma/GED and 5+ Years of Technician level experience in a Semiconductor environment, OR
+ High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of Military experience in an approved Military Occupational Specialty (MOS)

+ Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
+ Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
+ Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
