Actalent is looking for a full-time Engineering Field Technician to support our client, a leading DoD organization, onsite in Syracuse, NY. Responsibilities: + Collaborate in an Agile environment with other engineering disciplines and program personnel to perform engineering research, design, development, modification, and evaluation in support of complex systems and their components, equipment, sub-systems and networks. + Conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, allocate and trace requirements, develop algorithms, author test procedures, verify requirements, integrate and test, perform root cause analysis, resolve defects, interface with vendors and customers, and interact with engineers of other disciplines to deliver quality products. Qualifications: + Associate or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Technology) (BSEE) or Computer Engineer (BSCE) + General Linux Exposure/Knowledge + Familiarity with common laboratory engineering tools including logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, digital multi-meters, and other support equipment. + An Active US Security Clearance (Secret or higher) OR the ability to obtain an Interim Clearance is required Other details: + Pay – competitive and based on experience + Paid vacation and 6 paid holidays, full benefit package + Friday’s Off (Schedule is 4, 10 hour days a week) + Part-time Remote Telework is available: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at the facility in Syracuse, NY.
