Job Description

Position Summary

Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment. Applications may include analog, digital and/or video circuits, and logic systems. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.

 

Responsibilities

 

Assembling PCB including solder down surface mount components Operating automated test equipment Running automated calibration routines Perform basic manual RF tests Perform RF test setups Perform ATE testing procedure such as correlation, serialized testing Building Test fixtures and Test Jigs Building DC harnesses for test fixtures Perform debug and troubleshoot test fixtures Generate Bill of Materials (BOMs) for RF modules under supervision of test engineers Reports findings/root cause with evidences to designated area of support

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Associate degree or technical course with equivalent years of experience in ATE support specialized in testing RF devices

 

Preferred Skills

Ability to understand schematics and diagrams Experience with MS-Office, Windows OS Ability to interpret data with a basic understanding of voltage, current, power Excellent English communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions Must have a team-oriented mindset, accountability, and ownership High-level problem-solving ability Knowledge and hands on experience with bench test equipment: multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generators, power meter, power supplies, spectrum analyzers etc Knowledge in Communication Standards – 2G/3G, 4G, 5G Experience in Database system (Agile system) Root Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting ability
