Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technician 2 with experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. This role requires proficiency in setting up and operating various machines, using microscopes and measurement tools, and interpreting mechanical drawings. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, basic arithmetic knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate machines used in the manufacturing of semiconductor packages and assembly.Utilize a microscope, micrometer, caliper, depth gauge, and other necessary equipment.Collect data and transform it into meaningful information.Perform basic arithmetic, algebraic, and geometric calculations.Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.Use computers and be familiar with word-processing and spreadsheet programs.Perform physical tasks such as standing or sitting for extended periods, bending, stooping, turning, twisting, and moving about the plant.Lift and carry up to 25 pounds and handle small parts or tools.Essential SkillsExperience with SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) machines and SMT lines.2+ years of technician experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Ability to set up, troubleshoot, and run parts and programs on SMT machines.Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Minor programming skills for machine setup and operation.Experience in a manufacturing environment involving semiconductor technology.Work Environment

The work schedule is on the 1st shift. The job involves physical activities such as standing or sitting for long periods, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Employees will receive training from engineering for the first month. Benefits include 10 paid holidays and 5 days of accrued PTO. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.37 - $26.71/hr.
