\nPosition Statement
\nThe Engineering Team Leader assists in the regular maintenance of the Engineering department’s systems as well as execute and assign maintenance requests from the systems.
\nWhat will I be doing?
\nAs the Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nDeal with emergent situations and solve equipment problems.\nEnsure that all team members receive technical training, supervision and are assessed.\nAdheres to hotel policies, procedures and guiding principles.\nManage and control wastage, make good use of energy and materials, and be environmentally friendly.\nEffectively lead team members, setting a good example, proactive and good leadership.\nOrganize team members to do routine maintenance work, ensuring that the quality of work meet hotel standards.\nInspect the safe operation of equipment in all departments and prevent violations.\nReport any irregularities/ situations to the superior.\nAssist the team in managing and maintenance planning, motivate team members to achieve the common goal and enhance team spirit.\nEnsure hotel systems and equipment are well maintained and arrange all procedures.\nEnsure that all relevant systems and equipment plant are in good condition and high standards.\nCarry out preventive maintenance, energy conservation and cost control programs.\nKeep a proper record of relevant hotel systems and equipment.\nControl and manage properly all equipment, tools and materials.\nActively enhance effective communications with the supervisor, team members, and local authorities.\nMonitor and supervise closely all contractors and construction, ensuring the highest standards.\nMonitor and track work requests timely completion and investigate escalations.\nFlexible and able to work on shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.\nComplete other tasks assigned by your superior.\nWhat are we looking for?

\n\n\n\tAt least 2 years of relevant working experience in supervisory role.\n\tTechnical Secondary education on electric appliances, machines or equivalent.\n\tKnowledgeable of electrical appliances, air-conditioners, boilers, machines and pipelines, etc.\n\tEffectively communicate with your superior and staff.\n\tTeam player who is honest and diligent.\n\n\nWhat will it be like to work for Hilton?
