As a Team Lead in Experience Platform, you will manage a team of Backend engineers who are responsible for the microservices and BFF’s that the Bash.com app and website will consume.  You will be responsible for managing the delivery of engineering projects, managing the growth and development of your team members as well as building and fostering effective teams where individuals are enabled to do their best work.

This is an exciting opportunity as the team is currently in the process of migrating to a mono-repo architecture for Nest.js and a new microservice architecture in Golang.

WHO YOU ARE:

Skills you already have:

Experience leading a team, with a focus on a very high quality output and team enablement. A history of writing high quality, scalable, code - we primarily use Node.js for our backend services - experience with Golang is, however, a bonus.  Experience in developing distributed, high transactional and available systems. In-depth knowledge of databases, data structures, algorithms, scaling architecture. Great problem-solving skills. A passion for observability and monitoring of the services you build. 5 years of relevant work experience. 1 year of experience in a team lead position. BSc Computer Science or equivalent is encouraged (strong work experience can fill this gap).
