Identify and manage paint facilities and equipment to attend customers needs and process improvement. Chemical paint processes deep knowledge, paint shop operating procedures, control plan, material specifications for daily production requirements. Assure compliance and deep knowledge on paint shop control plan. Follow procedures and specifications applicable to paint (PT-ED and 3Wet) Review material, processes and equipment parameters based on plant performance data and create improvement plans. Finished vehicle quality evaluation for paint system according to specifications and creation of improvement plans as needed. Assess process from chemical perspective and create improvement plans. Develops and implements new paint technologies from concept to plant implementation. Provides traditional and non-traditional solutions to paint- related issues across multiple disciplines and multiple manufacturing functions. Mentors others in plant audits for control plan execution, adherence to engineering specifications, plant skill set verification and overall paint quality system. Keep the team aligned to the different paint quality strategies implementation. Paint material suppliers coach and follow up for Ford requirements adherence. Create strategies for improving FTT performance according to customer needs. Create 6sigma projects focused on paint quality according to warranties and process/product specs. Work along with Global Paint Engineering for implementation of new materials, processes and technologies. Daily data analysis for assigning priorities and coach the paint team in terms of quality. Assure all paint productive material comply with environmental regulations and requirements. Compliance and adherence to FPS processes & tools (KUPS, SOI, GPA, etc). Quality report outs compliance as required
