SSOE is looking to hire an Engineering Record Drawings Team Lead. The Team Lead would be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of engineering record drawings, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, organizing, updating, and managing processes, and providing technical guidance. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and expertise in engineering documentation

Responsibilities Coordinate with subject matter experts, discipline leads, and other engineers to drive process and ensure accurate design documentation.Work in tandem with our lead engineers, design team, and project managers to collect, understand, and verify the schedule, workload, and details of the schedule. Understand the information regarding timelines, needs, backlog, obstacles, and be able to dig into the details regarding when/if the Record Drawings can be started/finalized to drive to completion. Develop/manage frameworks to monitor project progress, risks, and change. Take corrective or proactive steps when necessary.Works with design and engineering team to ensure deliverables are being met and get assistance in the removal of any obstacles that are preventing their completion. Uses all available resources to manage the successful completion of the project.Completing work assignments of increasing complexity, working within an established framework of scope, schedule, and work under moderate supervision (with some latitude for independent judgement).Act as an advocate for process improvements and engineer solutions for problems related to the project while meeting objectives. Qualifications An Associate degree or higher in a related engineering field (i.e. civil, electrical, mechanical, industrial, process, or structural) is preferred. Demonstrated experience in a design-build role within the AEC industry. Prior experience as a Designer, Design Lead, or similar technical role is highly preferred.Ability to work well in groups and across multiple offices, including interfacing with international locations.Ability to adjust to evolving circumstances and make necessary changes to accommodate both situations and people. Flexibility is crucial when dealing with complex projects and diverse team members.Clear and effective communication is vital for conveying project specifications, addressing questions, and ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals.Computer literacy and basic drafting skills with prevailing software platforms.Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, 401K, PTO, & paid holidays.
