Today, the Retail Engineering provides one of the best Apple Experience to Customers in the world, and operates in multiple countries worldwide. **Description** The IS&T Retail Engineering organization is seeking individuals to lead Strategic Programs: large, complex, multi-year initiatives that shape the development of both software and hardware solutions. In this role, you will define and implement strategies that align cross-functional teams, drive clarity in ambiguous business challenges, and deliver scalable solutions that contribute to our platform’s long-term success. You will use technical depth, strategic systems thinking, and high-impact communication to navigate complexity and influence key decisions across engineering, product, and business domains. Our ideal candidate thrives in structuring ambiguity into actionable roadmaps, balancing long-term vision with near-term execution. They excel at leading cross-team dependencies, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and aligning diverse technical and business priorities. With a strong understanding of engineering workflows and architecture, they can navigate complex trade-offs, challenge assumptions, and ensure solutions are both scalable and impactful. **Minimum Qualifications** + Experience as a Technical Program Manager (TPM), Engineering Program Manager (EPM), Engineering Lead, or Product Lead. + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience. **Key Qualifications** **Preferred Qualifications** + 5+ years of experience leading large, complex, cross-functional initiatives—this could be as a Technical Program Manager (TPM), Engineering Program Manager (EPM), Engineering Lead, or Product Lead. + Proven ability to drive multi-year, multi-team programs that require both customer and technical focus. + Experience leading customer-facing software initiatives, balancing business objectives, customer impact, and engineering constraints. + Experience with enterprise-scale software development lifecycles, including launch strategies, compliance, and operational scaling. + Experience managing cross-org dependencies across multiple engineering, product, and business teams. + Proficiency in setting up governance models, decision-making frameworks, and program health metrics. + Ability to drive consistency in execution across different teams, priorities, and timelines. + Proven track record of influencing at all levels, from engineers to C-suite executives. + Experience handling multi-functional trade-offs, ensuring collaboration rather than friction. + Strong understanding of engineering workflows and architectural trade-offs, even if not hands-on coding. + Familiarity with scalable architectures, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and software development best practices. **Education & Experience** **Additional Requirements** + Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
