Are you an accomplished Engineering Project Lead seeking a dynamic opportunity to drive innovation and excellence in product development? This role is pivotal in overseeing the development of our Interiors Seating Products, encompassing both existing lines and exciting new product introductions.

Position Summary:

As an Engineering Project Lead, you will spearhead critical projects from inception through execution, influencing every phase from planning and budgeting to implementation and customer delivery. You'll collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, program managers, and suppliers, ensuring that project milestones are met with utmost precision and quality. This position offers the opportunity to showcase your technical expertise while contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge seating solutions in a globally recognized organization.

What you will do:

Lead Strategic Initiatives: Drive planning, organization, and coordination of engineering activities to uphold customer satisfaction and achieve project deliverables.Project Management Excellence: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, adeptly managing multiple projects concurrently.Stakeholder Management: Represent Collins as the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on project objectives.Risk Mitigation and Solutions: Proactively identify project challenges, devise effective solutions, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Financial Acumen: Pursue cost-saving opportunities to enhance project profitability without compromising quality or timelines.Technical Oversight: Exercise technical acuity and an understanding of commercial seating products to oversee all project phases and ensure technical requirements are met.

Qualifications you must have:

Typically Bachelor’s degree and minimum (10) ten years of relevant experience OR Advanced degree in a related field and minimum (7) seven years of relevant experience OR In the absence of a degree, (14) fourteen years of relevant experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
