Purpose of Role:
The Engineering Policy Lead ensures policies are current, comprehensive, and aligned with industry standards, driving innovation and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Author and manage engineering policies and process documents.Coordinate working groups and manage change requests.Conduct audits and gap analyses for policy compliance.Oversee IP data management within GPDM systems.Collaborate with various departments for policy support.Integrate  product stewardship responsibilities.Engage with stakeholders to communicate policies and gather feedback.Track performance metrics to measure policy effectiveness.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Engineering or a related technical field.Proven experience in policy creation and management, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of IP data management and GPDM systemsStrong organisational, project management and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to engineering, manufacturing, and product stewardship.
