About the Role 

We are seeking a Engineering Manager to join our Management teams in Novi Sad. This role involves guiding and managing the buildout of our state-of-the-art AI-powered VFX platform, Autodesk Flow Studio (formerly Wonder Studio). 

 

As the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with leadership and collaborate with our Application and Machine Learning Engineering teams. You will also engage with designers, executives, and other internal stakeholders to deliver new software products/features and help productize research generated by our research teams. Responsibilities 

Understand the relationship between scope, deadlines, and dependencies. 

Assist the Product Owner in managing the Product Backlog. 

Support the development team(s) by obtaining necessary information from all related sources. 

Lead, train, and coach team members in Scrum principles, self-management, and cross-functionality. 

Help the team focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done. 

Remove impediments to the team’s progress and barriers between stakeholders and teams. 

Recognize, manage, and prioritize cross-team dependencies. 

Ensure that all Scrum events take place in a productive and timeboxed manner. 

Implement and practice efficient risk management. 

Propose process improvements and facilitate their implementation. 

Capture lessons learned and drive continual improvement. 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications 

 

3+ years of experience as a Product, Project, and/or Quality Manager for high-end AI and/or Software products. 

Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and project management skills. 

Proven ability to provide a consistent and well-communicated project plan to stakeholders and within the engineering organization. 

Extensive experience in an Agile, iterative development environment utilizing project tracking tools such as Notion or Jira. 

Ability to recognize when to escalate and ask for help. 

Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. 

Quick, outside-the-box thinking. 

Technical or design background is preferred, but not required. 

BS degree.

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
