The role
As an Engineering Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This role sits within our Cavendish Nuclear business, from decommissioning redundant nuclear facilities, through supporting the Continuous at Sea Deterrent, to supporting the operation and build of nuclear power plants, our role in Cavendish Nuclear is to clean up the nuclear legacy and create a world where nuclear plays a key contribution in protecting our nation, ensuring security of energy supply and meeting our net zero commitments.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Engineering Manager
Previous experience within the nuclear industry is not an essential requirement. Demonstrable management experience, including experience in managing multi discipline teams to deliver analysis activities on a range of project types Excellent communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines Experience of defining, applying, and monitoring engineering governance arrangements.
Qualifications for the Engineering Manager
Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline with significant demonstrable experience
Security Clearance
