Engineering Lead - Data & Analytics

Key Responsibilities:

Transform data insights into reliable systems and solutions, aligning technical execution with business priorities and strategic goals. Build scalable, data-driven infrastructure to adapt to evolving market demands and ensure innovation in data platforms, tools, and methodologies. Enhance system performance, optimize resource usage, and streamline processes to improve overall project delivery and reduce time-to-market. Create systems that better understand and respond to customer needs, providing exceptional value and improving user satisfaction. Foster collaboration between data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure technical initiatives are aligned with both business and customer needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

Must have a Computer Science or relevant qualification. Strong understanding of data platforms, tools, and methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize resource usage. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-value technical solutions.

Skills:

Proven experience in leading/managing/coaching engineering teams within the data and analytics space. Proficiency in SQL and ETL processes. Strong project management skills. Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights. Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
