Engineering Lead, Infrastructure
Job Description

What's on the menu:

Work cross-functionally through a high-level of collaboration with various departments and levels, constantly aligning infrastructure key initiatives with the NA zone`s current and future priorities and objectives. Start to build & maintain a facility infrastructure health assessment tracker for all NAZ plants Prioritize the output of the health assessment and aid the plant and/or BU engineering teams in execution of the remediations required Help to socialize the plant health assessment scores and business criticality to the business unit leads and senior leadership line.  Help to outline what the preventive actions can/should be taken to prevent reoccurrence of the infrastructure issues. Provide guidance to the project teams and share best practices with the project management teams on infrastructure relayed activities because of the KPFF study. Work across Maintenance package owners (Food Safety & Quality, EHS, External Suppliers, FM Global, Roof, etc.) and in close cooperation with Manufacturing and Supply Chain leads to properly and accurately define, prioritize and budget capital projects in the AOP and Five-Year Strat Plan. Serve as Engineering representative for all Technical Peer Reviews (TPR’s) within assigned portfolio. Manage expenditures and project budgets, according to our zero-base budget guidelines. Prepares interim and completion project reports. Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and with strict adherence to project scope.

Recipe for success:

 Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited engineering school or related experience.   7-10 years of experience in a property maintenance capacity focused on building and property maintenance.  Demonstrated knowledge or experience in construction and infrastructure management. Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with other driven stakeholders. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand, build and execute the strategy based on long term plans. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; proven track record of building effective business relationships. Strong relationship management skills to develop partnerships across the organization and with suppliers. Ability to effectively negotiate and influence business decisions and change. Ability to quickly develop a level of organizational agility, i.e., know how to get things done both through formal and informal channels. Priority Setting – Spends their time and the time of others on what’s most important. Eliminates roadblocks and creates focus. PE/PMP License is highly preferred.

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is considered a Field based environment; role requires frequent travel to customer locations, stores, manufacturing facilities, etc. Additionally, this role requires willingness to travel to locations outside of home state for extended periods (up to 50%) as needed and the demonstrated ability to work remotely with little supervision. Ability to work to flexible schedule including days, afternoons, nights and overtime as needed.

This role requires inspection of sites to detect safety concerns. Occasional need to scale heights and traversal of workplace. Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy environment.

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$137,400.00 – $171,700.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
