Under the guidance of experienced staff, the successful candidate will support the design of overhead transmission line and distribution line structures, foundations, and their related facilities. **Required Education/Experience** + Pursuit of a university degree in civil, or structural engineering or other related discipline. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Candidate is interested in consulting engineering and the electric utility industry. + Candidate is legally authorized to work permanently in Canada without the need for work sponsorship. **Desired Education/Experience** + Minimum of a 2.75 GPA. + For electrical engineers, successful completion of junior-level courses in power system analysis and/or power system protection is a plus. + For civil engineers, coursework in structural analysis, concrete, steel, soils, foundations, and surveying is a plus. + Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills will be critical for successful completion of tasks. + Ideal coursework includes AutoCAD, structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying. + Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and/or structural engineering, is desirable.
