An Internship with Parker is a great way to expand your Engineering knowledge! This is a summer internship in our Des Plaines, Illinois facility.
With direct supervision, responsible for participating in the Parker engineering intern development program to learn the various aspects of the engineering function at Parker Hannifin. This includes participation in the design and evaluation of production processes for both new and existing components, or a system of components, to provide improvements in cost, enhance performance, or facilitate manufacturing operations using fundamental principles of mechanical, electrical, industrial, or other engineering disciplines.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other Engineering disciplines
+ Sophomore or Junior standing in your university
+ Proficient in Excel (including macros)
+ Experience using CAD/CAM/PDM
+ Experience with simulation software such as FAE/CFD/1D
BENEFITS
+ This position offers an hourly wage between $19 per hour to $23 per hour.
