We are recruiting for an Engineering Intern who will be based at our Amesbury, MA, USA location. 

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Item Setup, Bill of Material, Route, Process Plan Creation

Process engineering change requests

Value Stream Mapping

Development and Documentation and of new processes as well as reviewing and updating existing processes as needed

Assist in developing manufacturing techniques, procedures, and processing conditions to produce a wide range of materials such as thermoplastic and thermoset elastomers, foam, honeycomb, composite materials, etc.

Safety analysis and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:

Sophomore or junior level preferred, in a B.S. degree program or graduate in a M.S degree program from an accredited college or university in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or other applicable technical field.

Ability to work effectively as a team member.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Current computer literacy including Microsoft Office Products.

Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma continuous improvement programs preferred.
