Engineering Intern

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate on cutting-edge 3D CAD and 2D drawing projects: Develop, review, and release designs into our innovative system. Get hands-on with prototype builds: Assist in creating prototypes for customer orders and testing parts. Drive continuous improvement: Participate in projects that enhance our processes and procedures. Support diverse manufacturing tasks: Engage in activities like tube/rod bending, quality assurance, prototype fabrication, and generating work orders. Translate customer needs into actionable tests: Understand specifications and create precise test instructions. Dive into data analysis: Assess test results for durability and reliability, and craft detailed reports. Organize and update documentation: Keep our DVPR and related documents in top shape. Collaborate across teams: Work on projects with various functional groups at Tenneco.

Required Skills

Ability to work in a fast paced/dynamic environment Able to work independently as well as in a team setting  Strong analytical skills and motivation  Excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skills

Required Experience

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline. Prefer Sophomore level or higher.
