Eaton’s EIIC is hiring an Engineering Director Vehicle Electrification in Pune, India. 

What you’ll do:

Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) is looking for executive leader, who will lead engineering team responsible for vehicle electrification portfolio and drive regional manufacturing / sourcing growth. This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune. The role has to step up to provide leadership and guidance on several initiatives for Industrialization, also partner with senior leadership to build strategy around future road map.
  
•  Work with global leaders to define long term strategic objectives for product / technology roadmap, establish action plan, and drive execution
•  Partner with business teams to identify market opportunities, innovate new technologies, validate solutions and launch products aligned to voice of customer
•  Manage capacity, capability and resources including people / software / hardware / lab infrastructure as part of budget planning and governance
•  Drive high performance culture, coach and motivate subordinates to achieve their professional goals and review their accomplishments
•  Champion implementation of Eaton Business Systems for capability enhancement and driving engineering functional excellence
•  Partner with corporate / business strategy team to conduct studies for manufacturing and sourcing potential identification
•  Conceptualize and execute manufacturing and sourcing strategies to generate long term impact on profitability and supplier resiliency
•  Drive industrialization initiatives to improve speed to market for new product development and cost out programs
•  Work as a liaison between engineering, sourcing and manufacturing to make high quality industrialization decisions    

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production / Electrical / Electronic Engineering from an accredited institution.Preferred - Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Electrical / Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution.18+ years of industry experience in multinational company, while leading 200+ members team.Experience in managing customers and supplier relationship working closely with multi-functional global / regional senior leadership.Must have demonstrated accomplishments in scaling up organization for end-to-end product development, manufacturing engineering and regional sourcing.Industrialization experience while leading efforts to implement smart and digital manufacturing techniques in vehicle industrySkills:

• In depth understanding of market and regulatory trends in vehicle electrification
• Experience in handling New Product and Technology Development leveraging stage gate approach
• Expertise in handling key decision making roles in manufacturing and sourcing functions
• Demonstrated quality decision making while dealing with governmental policies and geopolitical factors
