Job Summary

ZOLL is looking for an Engineering Co-Op for the Test Automation team who is eager to learn and help us ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality. ZOLL's product portfolio utilize wearable electro-mechanical devices, embedded software, mobile applications, cloud storage and information processing. As a Co-Op on the test automation team, you will have opportunities to work on a wide range of technologies, ranging from creating Python test scripts, developing and designing new test fixtures using C/C++ software, adding new features to internal tools written using .NET framework or in Python, and integrating with cloud providers like AWS and more. This is your chance to work on projects that matter while honing your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Essential Functions

Apply software engineering skills to develop tools and fixtures to support device verification/validation testing.Develop and maintain automation software, infrastructures and frameworks; identifies areas where automation can improve quality and time to delivery.Work on software engineering and product development assignments with other software engineers.Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the team to resolve issues.Participate in code reviews and discussions, gaining insights that enhance your skills.Bring fresh ideas to improve our testing processes and automation strategies.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.Exposure to programming languages, including object-oriented programming and scripting. Python experience is preferred; Bash and C/C++/C# are desirable.Familiarity with automation testing tools PyTest, Appium or Selenium is a huge plus!
