Engineering And Maintenance Manager
Job Title: Engineering and Maintenance ManagerJob Description The Engineering and Maintenance Manager will maximize machine productivity and uptime through the development of proactive, predictive, and preventative maintenance processes. The ideal candidate will possess above-average critical thinking skills for troubleshooting and correcting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment problems. The role involves holding staff accountable, ensuring that all assignments are completed correctly and in a timely manner, and using continuous coaching, mentoring, and leadership to develop and train maintenance staff on new or updated maintenance techniques and procedures. Additionally, the candidate will further develop and maintain the Maintenance Management System to optimize maintenance inventory levels, parts purchasing, daily reports on PM scheduling, and work-ticket tracking. The role also involves developing and/or verifying adherence to all applicable Federal, State, or Local laws and regulations, including OSHA and environmental permitting. Proven experience in developing and communicating clear staff expectations and maintaining a cooperative/team-based relationship with production operations is essential. The role requires the ability to travel between manufacturing plants and to complete additional duties as required and necessary. Essential Skills + Mechanical + Electrical + Hydraulics + Preventive maintenance + Maintenance supervision + Troubleshooting + Proficient in MS Suite of Products + Lean Manufacturing experience (1 year) + ISO 9000 experience (1 year) Additional Skills & Qualifications + Minimum of 5 years maintenance work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment + At least 2 years in a supervisory role (team of 15-20) + PLC Programming + SAP Experience Work Environment Operating hours are from 8 AM to 6 PM. As the Maintenance Manager, you may need to come in after hours to conduct maintenance on the equipment. The work environment can range from cool to extremely hot, depending on the project, and may involve outdoor work. There is exposure to fuels, oils, cleaning solvents, and fumes from machinery. Safety glasses must be worn at all times while in the maintenance area and while working on machinery. The noise level in the work environment varies depending on the project, and hearing protection is required. Additional safety equipment may also be required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Full package401KHealth, Medical, Vision, Dental All active after 60 days of employment. The benefits package takes effect the 1st of the month after the 60 days of employment. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Las Vegas,NV.
