You will be a Fabricator for the Test Engineering department, designing and fabricating equipment used in the development and manufacture of tactical hardware. Our team is responsible for creating electronic, electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies to Engineering drawings, and we're looking for an early career individual to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating electronic, electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies, including placing and soldering components on circuit cards and sub-assemblies, and building wiring harnesses. You will work in a fast-paced fabrication environment, using computer-based programs to update job status, Quality Inspections, and Engineering changes.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Fabricating electronic, electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies to Engineering drawings
• Placing and soldering components on circuit cards and sub-assemblies
• Building wiring harnesses, including connector pinning, de-pinning, and applying mounting hardware
• Collaborating with Engineers, and other members of the Fabrication team, including other Fabricators, Draftsmen, Procurement, and Quality Inspectors
• Communicating issues with design and process requirements to management and engineers
• Utilizing software tools and Microsoft products
• Working independently with minimal supervision

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Final Secret Clearance required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience may be in other fabrication environments including cable and harness, SMT board fabrication, or maintenance of military design product.
- Must have Prior Certification in solder and harness capability to MIL STD requirements.
- Experience fabricating electrical equipment designed from a blueprint, schematic, and engineering guides.
- Experience with utilizing software tools and Microsoft products
- Final Secret Clearance required to start
Desired Skills:
- Solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721
- Experience in procurement and acquisition of test materials
- Experience interpreting and building to Lockheed Martin Test Equipment engineering

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
