We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure & Network Engineer to join our dynamic Ground Systems & Mission Operations team in Englewood, CO. Come be a part of a team that’s shaping the future of mission-critical systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and support the networks for individual project team.Analyze and modify systems requirements as a part of a larger project team.Design, configure, manage and provide technical networking support for physical environments, including hosts, operating systems and storage.Design, configure, manage and provide technical networking support for virtual environments, including hosts, operating systems and storage.Design monitoring systems to trend network usage and capacity.Experience as an AWS Solutions practitionerIdentify malfunctions and make corrections to network configurations to ensure efficient operation. Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.Design, configure, and provide technical support for the firewalls, IPS, and other network security systems. Respond to inquiries from internal customers, external customers, site personnel and outside vendors and provides technical assistance and support in a timely manner.Troubleshoot malfunctions of network applications to resolve operational issues and restore services. Monitor and document traffic analysis.Coordinate the repair, replacement, or retirement of system and network infrastructure.Proactively identify, investigate, and propose resolutions to issues that could impact the network/serverinfrastructure utilized by customers to support mission operations.Liaise with all levels of program and engineering staff on design, integration and test matters and support other teams/disciplines as necessary.Formulate and maintain plans as execution occurs.Implements tailored program security controlsSupports programs and IT orgs with implementing compliance to NIST and ISO.Troubleshoot any system network issues and generate roots cause analysis briefingApply technical knowledge to determine and set technical objectives to analyze, investigate and resolve advanced engineering problems; including future applications, and engineering developments.Perform network design on missions from bid generation through launch and operations. Prepare and lead the review of technical response to bids, presentation materials and reports. Liaise with customer and supplier staff, government representatives and other professionals.Performs other duties as assigned or required.
