Position Duties:
Conduct Daily review external and internal quality indicators
Track concerns and review initial test results/data from all relevant test equipment.
Once tested part is rejected, record testing data—along with analysis—then assist in determining root cause, and document improvement actions to test equipment.
Conduct a monthly review of all critical test point variable trend charts. Verify test point trends and current limits. Investigate or notify correct personnel of any unusual trends. Document charts in a binder for future reference.
Maintain completed Defect Testing Matrix for all test equipment. The matrix should prioritize actions to address pass-thru items. For product changes, rerun defect testing for all affected components to verify containment.
Assist Production and Quality departments in determining the root cause(s) of the top test stand rejects
Lead reject resolution meetings in addressing test stand top FTT concerns.
Assist Maintenance and Production in troubleshooting and repairing down test equipment. Investigate and implement corrective actions to address top availability issues. (I.E. faults and downtime)
Maintain cycle times on test equipment ensuring stands are running at or below authorized cycle time.
Support feasibility on product design changes and lead modifications and model code updates as required. Handle model additions, data base changes, test program and sequence changes; implement modifications of new parameters and limits.
Assist technicians with calibration of test stand instrumentation per schedule.
The DCP should require part testing daily on all stands.
Monitor part test status and assist Production with reaction to a rejected test.
Use test stand WMA software to monitor test stand FTT and stand to stand correlation.
Revise and maintain a suggested repair data base for the operators on the floor
Daily provide Engineering Supervisor with Final and Main Control Test FTT reports and status of top rejects prior to production meeting
FTT data should be reviewed at the start-up or close-out meeting with the teams daily
