Engineer - RSTAC

As a RSTAC Engineer 3, you will play a crucial role in the development and test of several of the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA)'s key radar systems. You will be responsible for analyzing large datasets from these radar systems to access specific radar functionality to include: search, acquisition, tracking, discrimination, kill assessment and external reporting. Your work will directly contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization, enabling it to deliver high-quality radar elements to the BMDS. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. + 3+ years of experience in systems integration or a similar role. + Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab, C++, or Python. + You must possess or be able to obtain an active Secret clearance + You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position Preferred Qualifications: + Master's degree in Engineering or a related field. + Experience with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence or machine learning. + Previous experience with any of the MDA radar systems that are part of RSTAC + Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: + Design and develop innovative solutions to help evaluate complex radar systems + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze findings + Create detailed technical briefings and documentation for MDA reviews + Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise during system deployment and operation. Skills: In this role, you will utilize your strong technical skills and knowledge of radar system design principles to better understand complex radar system performance. Your proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab, C++, or Python will be essential in evaluating radar performance. Additionally, your problem-solving and analytical skills will enable you to gather and analyze data and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during system testing, deployment and operation. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be crucial in ensuring the successful integration and operation of these systems. Overall, your technical expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in delivering high-quality services to our MDA customer.
