Engineer Level 3

ASRC Federal System Solutions supports the FAA NAS ESS (Federal Aviation Administration National Airspace System Engineering Support Services) contract.  Join our growing team as an Engineer Level 3 in support of the FAA’s Terminal Surveillance team.  The FAA Terminal Surveillance Team provides support for two types of the FAA’s Terminal Surveillance RADAR systems (ASR-8 & ASR-11). National Airway Systems Engineering Group engineers serve as nationally recognized subject matter experts (SMEs) in support of assigned National Airspace System (NAS) facilities, systems, and equipment. The National Airway Systems Engineering Group has a unique organizational responsibility to formally issue changes to operational NAS systems through problem analysis, design, and implementation of hardware, software, adaptation, and technical documentation modifications. These changes result in correction of design flaws, reduction in logistics costs and field workload, new or expanded capabilities, and/or major life extension redesign.
