In this role, you will be responsible for designing engineered-to-order irrigation pump stations, ensuring that each project meets customer specifications and expectations. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, application engineers, and sourcing teams to design control systems, create detailed engineering drawings, and provide ongoing support to both operations and after-sales needs. You will be part of a team where safety and quality are fundamental values, guiding everything we do.

 

Responsibilities Coordinate with application engineers and sales to understand and meet customer expectationsDesign power (single and three phase) and control circuits for irrigation pump stationsEnsure compliance through design to UL508A Industrial Control Panel standardsDraft highly detailed engineering drawings that can be used to fabricate, assemble, and wire.Work closely with sourcing personnel to plan part obsolescence, cost saving initiatives, and new purchased part introductionWork closely with and support plant personnel as they manufacture to the engineering drawingsSupport after-sales service personnel with troubleshooting and designs to keep existing pump stations operationalProgram HMIs, PLCs, VFDs, and other automation/telemetry equipmentManage engineering tasks based on priority and due dates to ensure that engineering drawings are released on-time to support the production schedule Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline     Minimum of 2+ years of electrical engineering experienceExperience in creating electrical schematics in softwareDemonstrated experience in achieving resultsAble to apply knowledge of electrical engineering conceptsSolid grasp of electrical engineering fundamentals including three phase powerAble to provide basic cost analysisExcellent communication skills and ability to work closely within a team environmentProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with EPLAN Pro Panel softwareExperience with CODESYS software and other IDEsPLC programming experienceExperience with UL508A standard3D CAD modeling experienceBilingual English Spanish
