Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Environmental and Facilities (E&F) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer.

The primary responsibility of this role is to collaboratively to support the development of environmental action plans and activities for achieving Toyota’s Environmental Challenge 2050.

Reporting to the Environmental & Facilities – 2050 & Performance Manager, the person in this role will support Toyota Motor North America’s (TMNA) objective to achieving Toyota’s Environmental Challenge 2050.

What you’ll be doing

Support Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050 action planning development

Support NA region Mfg & Non-Mfg operations environmental target setting

Support NA region Mfg & Non-Mfg environmental target achievement action planning

Support preparation of environmental performance reports & propose variance countermeasure plans

Plan and request funding / resources to complete action plan implementation

Participate in NA region Sustainability Focus Groups & quarterly regional meetings

What you bring

Bachelor of Science or higher (Engineering: Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical)

Experience in project planning & implementation

Experience in executive report preparation & presentation

Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS and Outlook)

Ability to work up to 20% overtime when required

Ability to travel up to 10% when required

What you may bring

Experience in Microsoft Power BI.

Experience leading projects or equivalent functional leadership experience

Experience working collaboratively across company and multiple functions

Spanish language skill • Good verbal and communication skills

Fundamental skills of problem-solving and desire to improve/kaizen
