Overview
The Civil/Site Engineer will play a key role in the design and development of solar, residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use land development projects. Responsibilities include site feasibility and conceptual planning, stormwater management, grading, drainage, utility design, erosion and sediment control, and permitting. As Engineer, you may also conduct permitting research, due diligence, write specifications and reports. The Engineer will work within Autocad Civil 3D and alongside the design team managers, and other Disciplines, to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines.

Responsibilities
+ Prepare construction drawings, plans, and project specifications.
+ Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, grading plans, street improvements, utilities and specifications.
+ Ensure technical accuracy, compliance with standard engineering practices, and proper documentation of all plans, reports, and design documents.
+ Identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and propose solutions, with guidance from senior engineers and project managers.
+ Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
+ Assist in performing basic stormwater calculations and reporting.
+ Plot and assemble civil engineering plans and reports.
+ Assist other departments with engineering and technical support needs.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
+ 0-3 years of experience in site/civil land development or related engineering fields.
+ EIT preferred.
+ Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations.
+ Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading and other site development related designs.
+ Demonstrated Civil 3D skills with the ability to design site layouts concept through completion.
+ Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
+ Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team environment.
+ Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
