Responsibilities Schedule and track vacation requests from employees in the departments and arrange the coverage needed to support the facility. Understand and monitor JDE online production schedule. Be able to create presentations of department metrics for communication to management.Capable of project management including conducting meetings with other team members for updates and status documentation and communication. Setting up and operation of cut and fold machines, slitters, high speed folders. Supporting and understanding lining machines, both compression lining and offline lining. Supporting and understanding of decoration equipment to include offset printing and hot stamping.Maintaining and troubleshooting operation of the equipment. Setup and maintain vision systems to be at the quality standard required while preventing any unnecessary scrap/waste. Maintain correct spare parts inventory and drawings as available. Able to create and modify cad drawings of tooling and communicate these to vendors/suppliers.Maintaining, revising, repairing, scheduling, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment. Able to keep documentation of downtime, scrap, production efficiencies, etc., and process that information to be tracked in metrics. Create and perform continuous improvement projects and activities for the department.Manage and lead any non-confomity issues of product or equipmentResearch downtime events on Auxiliary equipment.Give direction to the Auxiliary Supervisor & assist other technicians as needed. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Plant Manager. Qualifications Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Capable of maintaining an attendance record within company guidelines and working required overtime. Associates or greater college degree in related field, and/or 3-5 years experience in related field in supervisory position.Capable of successfully completing Arc Flash Training and certification. Read, write and speak English. Past experience / proven ability within the specified disciplines. Negative drug screen test results.
