Job DescriptionThe role entails technical delivery, support, and advisory to business stakeholder demand and Murex programme initiatives, with expected expertise across asset classes and end-to-end solution phases (scope, analyse, plan, design, dev, test, operate). In addition to the hands-on delivery responsibilities, the role requires developing standards, best practice, and ensuring optimal technical performance of the Murex Risk platform, as well as upskilling and coaching the team to improve overall expertise.
Provide domain and technical leadership, guidance & expertise to the team on design, delivery, and operational matters, serving as a trusted point of escalation for the team and stakeholders, helping manage and mitigate risks.Provide required levels of production support in accordance with established service assurance protocols and frameworks (ITIL, SRE etc.)
Participate in agile ceremonies (Stand-ups, Sprint planning, reviews, retros) and co-create agile artifacts (refined work backlogs, sprint backlog, etc.) with the goal of creating predictability in our delivery whilst being flexible and responsive to changing demand without compromising quality of our solutions.

QualificationsFirst Degree (Advanced Math of Finance, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems - MIn
ACI Dealing Certificate, ARP, FRT, TOGAF - MIn.
Additional Information
Experience Required - Software Engineering
5-7 years: Broad experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing the programming code to create the solutions
5-7 years: Experience in foundational Murex components and deeper expertise in the ERM modules such as Market Risk Reports (VaR), MRB, MRA, MLC, Reporting-Datamart, Reporting-Ant Scripts, Mx Data Model, Mx Test/Onyx
5-7 years: Broad experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing delivery roadmaps. Experience in working with cross-functional business stakeholder groups to facilitate ideation and solution design, ensuring that initiatives have client and business relevance and are technically feasible.
3-4 years: Business & Regulatory Domain Knowledge
