POSITION SUMMARY:
The Engine/Rigging Specialist performs rigging and maintenance on a variety of boats. This position will work directly with internal and external personnel, including fishing pros, management, engineers, etc. May assist with functions such as dealer conventions, media events, and assist with keeping track of inventory, and ship and receive our boats, motors and other components.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Install motors, electronics and various other components on all of our boat models.
Test and troubleshoot all types of issues that might come up on boats.
Tow, launch, and drive boats when required.
Operate a forklift for loading and unloading boats, motors, etc.
Operate a tractor for moving boats.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous rigging/installation experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong mechanical and electrical skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric focus and ability to work well with others
Strong work ethic with an attention to detail and focus on quality
Must have a class E or higher driver’s license, along with a clear driving record
Ability to learn and use Microsoft applications and business and diagnostic systems
Ability to analyze information and take appropriate actions or recommend solutions
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Up to 5% drivable
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regular walking, standing and lifting up to 50lbs
Occasional computer work, and sitting

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
