Ameresco has an immediate opening for an Energy Data Analyst.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide data entry and data analysis servicesAbility to extract data from multiple sources and utilize existing data management processes/systemsIdentify data errors and remove or clean-up data issuesIdentify gaps and source missing dataAbility to organize data into usable formatsPerform quality assurance reviewing data for anomalies/issuesThorough understanding and experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysisPreparation of reports and ability to identify data trends/patternsProvide software technical support to clients with a professional and courteous mannerTest new functions and features before software is releasedMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience with database administration, data management, data analysis, software implementation and technical support. Familiarity with energy data (interval and monthly utility bill data) an asset.Additional Qualifications:
Certificate in Business Intelligence – Data Analysis and ReportingUnderstanding of utility bills / utility billing dataPrior experience using Portfolio Manager SoftwarePrior experience performing weather normalization using linear regressionExperience with Microsoft office and expertise with Microsoft access and Microsoft excel.Experience with large datasets and data repositories. Additional experience working with building/asset management software systems or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.Excellent communication skills for working with clients; highly organized; attentive to detail; professional and courteous demeanor; proven organizational, planning, facilitation, customer service and management skills.#LI-SMC
