Job Summary
The OpportunityAn Endoscopy Technician shall assist with the operational and clinical aspects of the unit. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, setting up equipment for endoscopic procedures and cleaning up after procedures; cleaning endoscopes according to policy, understanding the multiple steps in manual pre-cleaning and the automatic endoscope reprocessor; care and maintenance of endoscopic equipment; maintaining stock in procedure rooms and decontamination area, and assisting with putting stock away when delivered. Assist with other clerical functions to support the endoscopy unit.

-Prepare and set up equipment, ensuring procedure rooms are maintained with necessary supplies
-Clean rooms according to policies and procedures
-Maintain endoscopic equipment; decontamination, high level disinfection, sterilization, and reprocessing in compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and standard of care
-Maintain all areas of the endoscopy unit with supplies, in a clean and orderly manner, restocking as necessary
-Maintain patient confidentiality
-Attend required meetings and in-services
-Perform related work as required
-Assist with quality improvement and infection control
-Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education-High school diploma or GED
Experience-1 to 2 years medical work experience preferred

We are currently hiring a full-time, 40-hour Endoscopy Tech t to work on site Monday-Friday from 7:15 am to 4:45 pm! Our Endo Techs play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients during procedures.
