**Responsibilities**
The Endoscopy Technician under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse will assume the responsibility of preparing patients for and assisting physicians with all endoscopic procedures and associated therapeutic modalities. Must be capable of handling multiple tasks. Responsible for ensuring quality care while demonstrating the ability to problem solve. Provides appropriate patient care according to the age of the patient specifically adolescent adult and geriatric. Responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality as per Administrative Policy.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Two (2) years of Endoscopy Tech experience.
+ Certified nursing assistant and BLS (AHA) Required
+ Medical terminology.
+ Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.
+ Ability to do multitasking and prioritize supplies and equipment in relationship to types of procedures and patients.
+ Must be able to read write and speak English.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

**Pay Range**
$29.26 - $36.57 /hour
