Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner
Job Description

UM Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has a full-time employed position available for an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner to join their practice located at the UM Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology in Bel Air, MD. 


Nurse Practitioner Job Specifics: 
•    This position will be responsible for managing and coordinating care for patients at the Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology. 
•    Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities. 
•    Collaborative, interdisciplinary team comprised of physicians, diabetes educators, medical assistants and administrative support staff. 
•    Monday through Friday work schedule, with very manageable shared call rotation.  
•    Ideal candidate will have experience treating and managing diabetes patients.

Qualifications

Education & Training:  

Master of Science with completion of a Nurse Practitioner program. Hold an unrestricted license in the state of Maryland 

Managing and treating patients with diabetes and endocrinology concerns is highly preferred.
