**The Position**
In this role, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and improving the user experience of Boehringer´s IT systems and processes. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies, and implement solutions to enhance the usability and functionality of IT Global Application Experience applications. You will provide technical expertise and targeted communication, propelling their successful completion by analyzing changes, developing communication strategy, copywriting content and planning/executing communication campaigns. In addition, you will drive the optimization of the IT information management.
Scope: IT, Global Application Experience - 75.000 users
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ User experience research - using a wide range of UX research methodologies, conduct regular qualitative and quantitative research to identify gaps in global IT processes and systems that may cause frustration to end users. Analyse IT systems and processes to gather supporting evidence.
+ Continuous improvement initiatives – using the results from UX research (including the analysis of Feedback and system analysis), identify tendencies and suggest actionable strategic and tactical improvements. Draft concepts and work with the responsible teams to realize such improvements, to optimize the application experience and the perception of IT globally.
+ Analyse impacts of upcoming change projects, define audience segments and end-to-end communication strategy. Copywrite and communicate complex subjects related to IT in a simple and intelligible language, consumable for end users and colleagues globally. Information management - drive the optimization of internal processes and the visual uniformization of IT websites, with the aim of simplifying and disseminating information governance to the rest of the organization.
+ Communications & Marketing of GAE services – content writing and delivery of communications and web content.
**Requirements:**
+ At least Bachelor´s degree in UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Social Sciences, Advertising & Marketing, Electronic and digital media communication, public relations or equivalent
+ Some years relevant job experience in UX research with a good understanding of conducting UX research in regulated environments.
+ UX Certification (UX research and discovery methodologies, usability, customer journey mapping, process design, service blueprinting, user cantered design, lean and agile in UX, measuring return of investment).
+ Experienced in IT system analysis and applying UX methodologies. Possesses inquisitive attitude and strong ethics in customer service and user support. Willing to speak up and advocate for end users, and ready to challenge the status quo when sees an opportunity for improvement. Maintains perseverance in achieving improvements in IT.
+ Ability to create strong relations with work colleagues, both within the intermediate team, and in the wider IT organization and the Business to reach the improvements. Experience in the Boehringer culture would be an advantage.
+ Excellent communicator and possesses strong written and spoken communication skills in English. [Other European languages would be a benefit (Spanish and/or French and/or German).]
+ Experienced in change management, communication strategy and ServiceNow (Adobe Campaign Standard, Web analytic tools like Clarity and Jira is a plus)
+ Experienced in working in agile multicultural teams in an international company, and able to succeed in an ambiguous environment with frequently changing priorities.
+ Creative thinker who loves and solves challenges and is passionate about working with users and business stakeholders
