Treat all clients, referral sources, stakeholders, and team members with dignity and respect.Adhere to confidentiality, CARF, and contractual standards during service provision.Compile and review vocational, medical, psychological, and educational information to assist clients with individualized career planning.Conduct orientation for clients to explain services and discuss their rights and responsibilities.Assist clients with job seeking and retention skills through interviews and vocational counseling.Create employer relationships and advocate for clients with employers and referral sources.Educate employers on the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities and facilitate job accommodations.Maintain frequent contact with referral sources to discuss shared clients and identify potential referrals.Report job development outcomes and relevant information to the supervisor regularly.Travel extensively to conduct job development and support, including transporting clients.Provide on-site or off-site job supports for clients as needed.Other duties as assigned by Leadership.Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent certificate is required; an associate’s or bachelor's degree in an applicable field from an accredited institution is preferred.At least one year of experience providing employment services.Additional Qualifications:
Strong understanding of how to support individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment.Knowledgeable about case management and rehabilitation methods related to mental health and substance use disorders.Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for producing clear and concise reports.Proficiency in computer knowledge, including Word, Excel, internet platforms, and other electronic media.Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.Brightli is on a Mission:
