Employment Associate 1-4 - Leeds A reputable national firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor to join their growing practice in Leeds. THE OPPORTUNITY This role involves working closely with Partners advising a diverse client base across the full spectrum of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious. Clients are employers spanning a range of sectors including commercial, government, charities, health and education. You will also play a key part in promoting the Leeds employment practice, as part of the firm's ongoing investment in this office. ABOUT YOU You will be 1-4 years' PQE, with experience gained in a comparable firm with an established employment law practice. You will also have the following skills/experience: · Clear enthusiasm for employment law. · The ability to lead on Employment Tribunal matters and run matters with supervision. · Self-starting with strong initiative, and the ability to work as a team-player working on complex matters. · Good time and documentation management skills and a keen attention to detail. · The ability to build very good relationships with clients, potential clients and multipliers. · Proficient in research and the ability to use online information sources. · Excellent interpersonal and team skills are required, including the ability to work with others, influence and persuade. · Some previous experience of providing employment law support to corporate transactions, including drafting contracts, settlement agreements and undertaking due diligence is desirable. · Exceptional written English for drafting purposes. · Excellent presentational skills. · A high level of IT skills, together with marketing and business development skills.
